Romans 10:17-So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Do you need a faith boost? Are you believing God for something and you need a little encouragment to keep on fighting for it? Well, it says here that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. So get to listening to God's Word. Read it, Listen to CD's by faith preachers, go to church and youth group and listen to the Word being preached. God's Word will always give you a faith boost!!!!!

John 8:29-And He that sent me is with me; the Father has not left me alone; for I always do those things that please Him.

 It is time that we start pleasing Jesus. We need to stop focusing on the things that are going on in our life and put our focus on Him. When we do that, He is always with you, right there ready to help you whenever you need it.

Luke 10:19- Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus says here, that you have the authority. Who has the authority? You do! But it won't do you any good if you don't use. So say this, I am exercising my authority over the enemy. And when you say that, you need to use it. Take control over the enemy!!!! Don't let him take authority over you.

Luke 10:19-Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

For your authority to do any good, you have to use it. Quit letting the devil have power over you, and you take the authority that Jesus has given you and you power over him.

Say this, I am exercising my authority over the enemy.

John 17:21-23 - That they all may be one, as you, Father, are in me, and I in you; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you have sent me.  And the glory which you gave me I have given them, that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me.

This was Jesus talking, He is one with the Father, and the Father is one with Him.

So say this, I am one in Christ!!! (what an awesome thing) We are one with Jesus.

John 15:16-You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father, in my name, he may give it to you.

You are chosen and ordained by God to bear fruit. Are you living up to that. Are you making God proud of you? Are you bearing the right fruit? Remember you are chosen and ordained to do that and when you do God will give you whatever you need.

 Say this, I am chosen and appointed to bear fruit.

John 15:1, 5 -I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  I am the vine, you are the branches; he that abides in me, and I in Him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without me you can nothing.

We are to be channel of God to those around us. Are you treating others with kindness, are you forgiving others when they wrong you, do you love no matter what? We are to be showing others what God really is. They way we do this, is by being a channel, being an example of the Most High God.

Say this, I am a branch of the True Vine, a channel of His life.

John 13:34-35 - A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.

We are commanded here by Jesus to love on another. It is not a suggestion, it is a command. When you do this then you are a disciple of Jesus Christ and other people will know that you are, because you love everyone. You love those, who don't love you. WOW!!! You really are a disciple when you do that and you will be blessed for it.

 Say this, I am a disciple of Christ because I have love for others.

Matthew 16:19-And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

 God's Word says: I am establishing God's word here on earth, so say this I am establishing God's Word here on earth. Loose the Word of God into your life and the lives of those around you.

Matthew 5:14-You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Say, "I am the light of the world."

You are not darkness, so don't live in darkness or hang around those who do. You are to be a light to the world.

Matthew 5:13-You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost his sacour, where shall it be salted? it is therfore good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Say, "I am the salt of the earth."

Salt does something to food, it flavors it. Are you adding flavor to the people around you, or are you putting off a sour attitude. Make sure you stay salty.

Proverbs 28:20-A faithful man shall abound with blessings; but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

Say, "I am faithful and I abound with blessings."

When you are faithful, good things and blessings come to you. Always make it a point to stay faithful, no matter what. Be a faithful servant of the Most High God.

Psalm 107:2--Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

Say, "I am redeemed from the hand of the enemy."

When you are redeemed from something you are free from it. The enemy can't touch you as long as you are trusting God and putting Him first in your life.

Psalm 91:11-For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Say, "I am kept in safety wherever I go."

Thank you Lord, Everyday when you leave for school, everytime you get on the bus or in the car, play a sport, hang out with your friends, when you are sleeping, it doesn't matter where you are, God will keep you safe.

Psalm 34:8-O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusts in Him.

Say, "I am blessed because I trust in the Lord."

Always put your trust in God, He will come through for you everytime. When you trust Him with your whole heart, He will bless you.

Psalm 34:1-I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise will be continually be in my mouth.

Say, "I am blessing the Lord at all times and continually praising the Lord with my mouth."

Always put God first, always bless Him and He will bless you.

Psalm 17:8-Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of your wings

Say, "I am the apple of my Father's eye."

Every person is the apple of God's eye, but make it personal for you, as if you were the only one. You are the apple, the delight of God's eye.

Jeremiah 31:3-The Lord has appeared of old unto me, saying, yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.

Say, "I am loved with an everlasting love."

You will always be loved by God!!!

Deuteronomy 28:13-And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if you harken unto the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day, to observe and to do them.

Say, "I am above only and not beneath."

You excel in everything you do!!!!!

Deuteronomy 28:6-Bless shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

Say, "I am blessed coming in and blessed going out."

Every time you go into a place and every time you leave a place you are blessed.

Deuteronomy 28:2- And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall harken to the voice of the Lord your God.

 God's word says You are overtaken with blessings.

 Over the next few weeks we are going to take a look at what God's Word says about you. Confess these everyday over yourself and watch God move big time in your life.

 Say: "I am overtaken with blessings"

Psalm 28:8-The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed.

Sometimes we get tired of the same old things. It seems like every day, it is the same thing. We start to feel weak, well it says here that the Lord is your strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed. If you are a child of God, you are His anointed and He is your strength. Make time today to get into His Word and draw on His strength.

1 Thessalonians 5:22- Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Why do you think this verse is important? Because who you hang around with is who you will act like. You are guilty by association. You may not do anything wrong, but you hang around people who do wrong things, people think that you do those things too. So stay away from all appearance of evil. Cling to what is right.

Colossians 3:23& 24 -And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that you will receive a the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord.

No matter what you do in life make sure you are doing it to honor God. Even when you obey your parents, you are honoring God. When you help someone, when you say a kind word to someone, or when you do a good deed, don't do it so people will see you do it, but do it to honor God and you will recieve  the reward of inheritance because you are serving God.

Colossians 3:20-Children, obey your parents in all things; for this is well pleasing to the Lord.

Do we want to please the Lord? Then we must obey our parents in all things. Not just when we feel like we want to, but in all things. If they say clean your room, then clean your room. If they say take out the trash, then take out the trash. If they say they need help with your brothers and sisters, then you help them with that. When you obey your parents, they are willing to help you and allow you to do the things you want to do.

Matthew 7:1- Judge not, that you be not judged.

 People are so quick to judge. Look what this person did, did you hear what that person said? I can't believe they did this or that. Jesus says right here in Matthew 7 that we are not to judge. We are to pray for people, encourage them, and help them, not judge them. When you live a life like that, then people won't judge you either.

Proverbs 8:17- I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

God loves you so much. He sent His only Son to this earth to die for you. What you are willing to sacrifice for Him? When you seek God early before things get rough, you will find Him and because He loves you, He will help you.

Ephesians 6:1 & 2 - Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right. Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with a promise.

As a child, as a teenager, as a young adult and even an adult we are to honor our father and mother. This is a commandment from God. Not just a good idea, but a commandment. It is also the right thing to do. So make sure that you are honoring and obeying your parents.

Psalm 46: 1-God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

This is an awesome promise. God is our refuge, our strength, our very present help. Wow!!!! Who else is all that to you and means it? Thank you Lord for always being there for us and being our refuge, strength and help.

Isaiah 55:6-Seek the Lord while He will be found, call upon Him while He is near

We are to seek the Lord. Take time out of your day to seek Him. Say Hi to Him, ask Him what He wants you to do for that day. Tell Him to direct your steps and then do what He says to do. The Lord is always waiting for you. He is near you always. Rely on Him, not yourself to tackle you day. Things will always go much smoother.

Exodus 15:2-The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation; He is my God...and I will exalt Him.

When God is the Lord of your life you will have all the strength you need to get through every circumstance that you come up against. You will know that He is the one that is carrying you through and you will sing praise to Him and exalt Him for all He has done in your life.

John 14:27-Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

This is Jesus saying this to us. Jesus gives us peace, not the kind of peace that the messed up world gives but the perfect peace of God. We all need that perfect peace in our life. When our heart is troubled we need peace, the Jesus kind of peace. When we are afraid we need the Jesus kind of peace. Thank you Lord for your perfect peace!

Psalm 143:10-Teach me to do your will; for you are my God; your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

 When God is your God. I mean truly God of your life, then you want Him to teach you to do His will. You learn how to do His will by reading the Word and putting the Word to work in your life. God's Spirit is good and it leads you into things of uprighness. Things that are Godly. We should all desire to live a life of Godly things. Then we are doing His will.

2 Timothy 4:18-And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

God will always take care of you. He will keep you from evil and preserve you (keep you safe) as long as you are living for Him and not living for the devil.

Psalm 37:39-But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.

God is our strength in our time of trouble. We all have trouble in our life. We need to learn to rely and trust God to be our strength and help. Fully relying on Him and nothing else.

2 Corinthians 1:20-For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

This is a great promise. When we ask God in Jesus name for something that is according to His will His answer is yes and amen. God wants to bless you abundantly. He wants to give you your every hearts desire.

John 16:33-These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

There are so many crazy things happening in the world today, that we all need the peace of God. Not only do we need it, but those around us need it to. Be sure to share Jesus with everyone you know and even those people you don't know. They need His peace too. Jesus has overcome the world, and that is why we have perfect peace.

Luke 18:27-And He (Jesus) said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

Whenever you think something is impossible, that it can't work out, know that God will work it out. Everything is possible with God. That is freedom that we have. If we live for Him, He lives for us. Taking care of our every need and every situation.

Romans 8:6-For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

How do you become spiritually minded? You read the Word. You read it everyday. Fill your mind with the Word of God and it will bring you peace. No one wants to live a life without peace. Don't live for yourself or anyone else. Live for Jesus everyday!!!

Romans 8:1-There if therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

When we walk according to the Spirit we will not be tempted to sin. We will want to please Jesus every chance we get, because we love Him and want Him to be pleased with us. And it makes us feel good too. Knowing that we didn't give into sin when it was presented to us. We said no, because we love the Lord and want Him to be pleased with us. Now that is freedom!!!

Colossians 3:15-And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the whcih also you are called in one body; and be thankful.

Sometimes we have to make a decision to let the peace of God take over our heart. We have to put all of trust in Him, knowing that He will take care of our situation and thank Him for it. Thank Him for loving you so much that He takes care of your every situation.

Philippians 4:7-And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.

Have you ever gone through a horrible situation and just felt at peace during the whole thing? If so, that is what Jesus does. He comforts you, keeps you at peace and helps you get through it. Our minds may not be able to understand all of that, but it's o.k. Just knowing that Jesus is taking care of you and your situation puts you at peace.  Thank you Lord!!

1 Corinthians 14:33-For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Do you live a life of confusion, a life that is not peaceful? If you are, then take a step back and make sure you are putting God first in every situation of your life. Don't allow being so busy that God takes a back seat in your life. God wants your life so full of peace, so you are the happiest person on the earth.

Isaiah 26:4-Trust in the Lord forever; for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

When we completely put our trust in the Lord we will have everlasting strength. Let's take a look at what the word strength means: the power to resist attack, the power to resist strain or stress, the ability to maintain a moral position firmly. WOW! When we have the strength of the Lord we can fight off the devil, we don't have to be stressed out and we can maintain and live our Christian life no matter what. So, it is a good idea to completely trust the Lord!!!

Isaiah 26:3-Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on your; because he trusts in you.

 When you live free in Jesus, He will keep you in perfect peace. That means you don't have to worry or be concerned about anything. Keep trusting in Jesus, not yourself or other people and you will live in perfect peace.

Romans 6:7-For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now this doesn't mean that when we are dead physically we are free from sin, it means when we give our life over to Jesus Christ we are giving Him our old, dead life. When we do that we are free from sin. What an awesome thing!!!! Jesus Christ died for your sins, now you give Him your life and live for Him no matter what, and then you will walk in His freedom!

John 8:36-If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

Is Jesus Christ Lord of your life? Then you are free. You need to live in that freedom everyday. Do your very best to please the Lord and put Him first in every area of your life. When you do that you are free in Him and every thing God has for you will be poured into your life.

Hosea 14:4- I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely.

 What an awesome thing!!!! God will heal your backsliding and make things better than every before and He will also love you freely, no matter what you have done!!! Now, that is an awesome thing.  Thank God everyday for all He has done for you and live for Him everyday and share Him with everyone you know. Everyone needs loved freely.

Galatians 5:1-Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Happy 4th of July. Today is known as Independance Day all throughout the United States.  We live in a free country. Thank you Lord! Well we are also free in Jesus Christ, if we have made Jesus Christ Lord of our life. We are Free!!!! If Jesus Christ is Lord of your life than you are not to get caught up with the things that keep you from Him. Don't even mess around with them because when you do, you are not free, you don't feel free and you don't act free. So make a decision on this Independence Day 2009 to live completely free in Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:2-For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

 Are you living a life in Christ? If you answered yes, then you are free from the law of sin and death. Now you truly must be living for Jesus everyday and living for Him in everything you do and say. You just can't be a Sunday Christian, you must be an everyday Christian.

Romans 6:18-Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness.

When Jesus died on the cross, He took your sins.  When you get born again you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Jesus has made you free from sin and He has made you righteous. It is your choice to walk in that freedom. Choose wisely.

John 8:31-32:  Then said Jesus to those Jewish which believed on Him, If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth; and the truth shall make you free.

 You can be free in Jesus, what an awesome thing. However, notice that it says that you need to continue (that means to live) in the Word of God. That makes you a disciple and a free disciple at that.  Thank you Lord for your Word and for setting us free.

Ecclesiastes 4:12-Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

We take on the nature, habits, and power of thought of those with whom we hang around with.

Prayer-Father, I thank you that there is a multiplication of power and ability when I unite in purpose with the godly friends you bring into my life.

Romans 6:23-For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ jesus our Lord.

Sometimes pressure from the wrong friends can cause you to do things that you would never do by yourself. Remember that sin always brings death. It's wiser to seek to please God than to please other people.

Galatians 6:10-Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially those who are of the household of faith.

It is important that we stay close to those who are of the "household of faith", the church. That's where we are going to learn, grow and experience God's goodness together. We must make a commitment to be around the right crowd.

Hebrews 10:24-And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works.

Leadership expert John Maxwell often talks about the "law of magnestism" this law says, "Who you are is who you attract." The thing that determines who will become your friends is not what you want but who you are.

Each day that you make choices based on the characteristics of honesty and truth, you provoke others by your actions to do the same. On the other hand, when you compromise and give in to sin, you attract people who will take you down even further.

The actions you choose to make each day determine the kind of people you attract. Choose wisely.

Romans 5:5-Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

God has chosen to use us to show others what Jesus can do to heal their lives.  God's love is in you. Let it ou.

1 Corinthians 13:4-Love suffers long and is kind; loves does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up.

A true friend will not try to place himself above his friend in an effort to look better. In fact, envy and pride will eventually destroy any relationship. Never allow yourself to compete with a friend fo attention, respect, or anything else. If you do, you could drive a wedge between you and your friend and permanently destroy the future of your relationship.

1 Corinthians 13:5-Love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.

Are you close to people who are rude, selfish, easily angered-even evil? They will eventually become a weight in your life that will drag your into areas you don't want to go to and may never return from. So take a step back today, and evaluate the people you hang with.

1 Corinthians 13:6-Love does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth.

When things go wrong in your friends life you are not supposed to be happy about it, you are suppossed help them, give them the Word and pray for them. Don't tell other people what happened, it is none of their business. Keep it to yourself and help your friend get through it.

Proverbs 17:17-A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

A true friend will love and help you, even when you are at your lowest point. They will encourage you and support you and love you unconditionally.

2 Corinthians 6:14-Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?

If you pair yourself with the wrong friends, the wrong boyfriend or girlfriend, you can get pulled off track. You can hurt your relationship with the Lord and start to fall off into the ditch and quick. Your relationship with the Lord should be the most important relationship in your life and if you are hurting that relationship, make things right now and stop allowing yourself to be unequally yoke and pulled in the wrong direction.

Matthew 6:33- but seek first the kingdom of God and His reighteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

When you let God have your heart, He will give you your desires.

Prayer-Heavenly Father, I commit to put you first in every area of my life, including my relationships. I won't seek after people or things, I seek you.

Proverbs 29:11-A fool vents his feeling, but a wise man holds them back.

It is very important that you learn to be guided by truth and wisdom and not by your feelings. Feelings lie. Feeling change. But a wise man will not allow his feelings to speak for him but will carefully follow after truth.  Never share words or make commitments that you may regret in the days to come.

1 Corinthians 5:9-I wrote to you in my epsitle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.

It says here that you are to not hang out with people who live sexually impure lives. Always remember, who you hang around with is who you will act like. If your friends are living sexually impure lives, get ready you will be too, if you don't make a decision now to change who you hang with.

Ephesians 4:26-27-Be angry and sin not; do not let the sun go down on your wrath; nor give place to the devil.

It says here that we can be angry, but it also says don't allow that anger cause you to sin. Anger can be a powerfully motivating emotion. Never allow your anger to turn to wrath against another person. Don't let your anger cause you to give place to the devil. Make the decision to not get angry and you will be amazed how peaceful your life will be.

Colossians 3:14-But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Everyday we have to put on clothes, we have to put on shoes, deodorant (please don't forget this one), and girls have to put on their make-up. Sometimes we don't feel like putting some of these things on, but we make a decision to do it. Love is the same way. You have to sometimes make a decision to put love on and walk in love no matter what. And guess what? There are some people who don't make it easy to walk in love, but we have to make the decision to do it anyway. Love isn't a feeling, it is a choice. So the first thing you should put on every morning, is love.

Proverbs 18:21- Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Your words have major power. That is why it is so important to choose them wisely. Your words either lift people up or it will destroy them. People love a kind word, so today make a point to say something kind to someone.

Mark 11:25-And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive them, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

When you forgive someone, you are making a statement, "No person's offense can ever stand between God's blessing and me." We never want anything between us and God. We want to make sure that when we need something from God and have a direct connection. When you don't forgive someone then that connection get clogged up. So be an instant  forgiver, and a forgetter. Once you forgive someone of something don't ever bring it back up.

Ephesians 5:11-And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

We need to be the light to this messed up world. One way to not have fellowship with the darkness of the world, is to not compromise. Don't give into the things of the world, just so you feel good for a little while. God needs you, needs you to shine for Him.

John 15:13- Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

Each day we can lay down our life for our friends who need us and to advance the kingdom of God. There are so many ways you can lay your life down for your friends, you can put them first, help them with school work before you do yours, pray for them and their needs, or give them a hug just to say how much they mean to you. These are just a few things you can do, but always ask God and He will give you ways to lay your down for your friends.

James 1:26-If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless.

Realize that the words that come out of your mouth will either build others up or destroy their life. Make sure you are speaking words that will build and encourage others.

John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

This scripture contains the greatest of all things we could want or give in our lives:

God-the greatest love........so loved-the greates degree.......the world-the greatest expanse.......that He gave-the greatest single act......His only begotten Son-the greatest gift.....that whoever-the greatest opportunity.......believes-the greatest simplicity.....in Him-the greatest attraction.......should not perish-the greatest promise.....but-the greatest difference.......have-the greatest certainity.....everlasting life-the greatest possession.

In this verse, we see the extent of God's friendship toward us.

1 Corinthians 13:8- Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

Think about this, If you can....

* always be cheerful, ignoring your own pains... * resist complaining about all of your troubles....* eat the same food everyday and be grateful....* understand why people are too busy for you at times....*overlook offenses committed against you...*take criticism and blame without resentment......*treat the rich and the poor the same....*face the world without lies and deceit....*honestly say that you have no prejudice

1 Corinthians 13:7- Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

To be a good friend you must bear all things, believe all things, hope all things and endure all things in your relationships.

Prayer-Father, I thank you for giving me the courage and boldness to share your love with others. Help me to never give up on others, no matter how far down they may get. Your love can always bring us through, in Jesus name. Amen

Proverbs 27:6-Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

A true friend will tell you when you've made a mistake, even if it is a little humbling for the moment. And true friendship always has give and take. Learn to accept your role in both.

Joshua 1:9- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afriad, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you do.

God told Joshua not to follow the crowd but to follow his convictions. God promised to be with him and give him his inheritance. God will do the same for you. God is telling you, don't follow the crowd, follow Him and He will bless you and be with you wherever you go. What an Awesome Promise!

Proverbs 19:22- The desire of a man is his kindness; and a poor man is better than a liar.

Kindness is what makes people want to be around you. Being kind means putting others before yourself. The world says looks, image, and beauty are the things that mean the most to people. But really it is truth, good character and the fruit of the Spirit that will make you attractive to others. So determine today to let the fruit of the Spirit flow out of you in every situation.

Rmans 12:2- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

The world's standards for relationships are much different than God's. We must make a commitment to follow God Word about relationships. Once we make the decision to do the right things, then we mst stick with it until the end.

Anyone can give in to the world's standards, but it takes courage and character to stand up and be different and live for Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 18:24-A man that has friends must show himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

In order to have good friends you first must be a good friend. People want good friends in their life. So determine today that you will always be a good friend.

Prayer-Lord, I commit to be a god friend, and I know that you will send me good friends as a result. Help me to let your love come out, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Proverbs 13:20- He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.

Here is a good prayer to God for choosing the right friends.  Lord, I pray that you will give me the wisdom to choose the right friends and influences in my life. In Jesus Name, Amen.

This may be a prayer you pray often for awhile, but God will give you the wisdom to choose friends wisely, and it will become easier to choose them and know in your Spirit that they are the right ones.

Romans 4:21- And being fully persuaded that what He had promised, he was able to perform it.

 If God has promised it in His word, then He will make it come to pass in your life. God is so good. He is true to His Word and He wants to prosper you with every good thing.

Galatians 6:7-Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

What are you sowing? Are you sowing kindness, forgiveness, love, patience, friendship, encouragment, and Jesus? Or are you sowing hate, meaness, unforgiveness, backbiting, or wordly things? Always remember you reap what you sow, so make sure you are sowing the right things. You will be more at peace in your life.

Romans 8:31-What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

 Our God is for us, and it doesn't matter who is against us or what problems come our way. With God on our side,we can't lose. Our victory in life isn't based on our performance anyway; it is based on what God has done for us. All we have to do is remain standing, knowing that we are with the man.

1 Corinthians 15:33-Do not be deceived: evil company corrupts good habits.

Who you hang around with is who you will act like. So take a step back and take a good look at the people you hang with. Are they moving you closer to God or farther away from Him?

Hebrews 13:8-Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

So many things today are not stable. People are up one day and down the next. News is back one day and good the next. People say they will do something and never follow through. Well we have an awesome promise. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. Put your complete trust in Him and allow Him to be the most consistent thing in your life.

Ephesians 4:29-Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification that it may impart grace to the hearers.

Instead of tearing others down, build them up. It says here that the words that come out of your mouth should edify others. People are so quick to tear others down to make them look good. Well, that won't get them very far, because they will reap what they sow. Start sowing words of encourgament instead of hurtful words!

Colossians 3:17-And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Whether it is school work, ministry work, chores, your job, no matter what type of work you are doing do your best at it. Give Jesus your best, He is the one who blessed you with your job, He is the one who helps you when you need help with your school work. Give Him thanks for everything opportunity He has given us!!!

Colossians 3:2-Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

It's so easy to get distracted. Our daily schedules seem to run us if we aren't careful. When you purposly set your mind on God the first thing every morning you will start off with His thoughts and His ways.  It may take awhile to get into the habit of doing, but start today, purpose to put God on your mind and let Him control your thinking and your actions.
